
Biography
Scott is currently producing & directing the web-series Self-Storage, and recently worked on Quentin Dupieux's RUBBER (Cannes 2010) and Miranda July's The Future. As a screenwriter, Scott is developing Juarez (finalist trackingb screenwriting contest), and Sizzlean ( FIND Screenwriters and Producers Labs, the Producers Guild of America Producers Lab at Sundance,finalist Beverly Hills Film Festival Screenwriting Competition) among other projects. In the process of developing Sizzlean, Scott wrote and directed a short film based on the feature script. The Sizzlean short was selected for the Cinequest Film Festival Maverick Short Film Competition, Dowtown Film Festival Los Angeles, Strasbourg International Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival's Short Film Corner, New Hampshire Film Festival, and the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Market. Fat, Broke and Horny, a pilot Scott produced and directed, screened at the New York Television Festival, New Jersey Film and Television Festival and was developed as a series with King of Queens Executive Producer, Rob Schiller. Scott has also directed music videos for the grammy-award-winning band Ok Go, New Maximum Donkey and Vis Winters. Scott’s videos for Ok Go are currently in release on the companion DVD for Ok Go’s hit album “Oh No”. Beyond writing and directing, Scott served as production manager on Don McKay (starring Thomas Haden Church and Elisabeth Shue), the directorial debuts of Kirsten Dunst and Kate Hudson (as part of the Glamour Reel Moments film series), and commercials for Johnnie Walker, Hyundai, Samsung, LG, and Korean Air, and production supervised part of Slipstream, Academy-Award-winner Anthony Hopkins’ writing and directorial debut. In the past, among many film and television projects, Scott was a part of Sundance and Cannes award-winner Me and You and Everyone We Know, D.E.B.S. (Sundance 2004), Harsh Times (Toronto 2005), Kissing Jessica Stein (LA Film Fest 2003 Audience Award winner) and the emmy-nominated television show American Family from director Gregory Nava.
